The Blame Game : This is all Joe Biden’s Fault

A two-panel cartoon shows a man in a red trucker hat and yellow shirt lying on the ground, beaten and bruised, while a figure resembling Donald Trump sits on his chest, raising a fist as if to strike him. In the second panel, despite clearly being attacked by Trump, the injured man blames Joe Biden, saying, "This is all Joe Biden’s fault!" The comic, drawn in a satirical style, highlights misplaced blame and denial of responsibility. Artwork is credited to @pizzacakecomic. https://pizzacakecomic.com/post/776746847086788608

Cletus had always prided himself on being a straight shooter. He wore his lucky red trucker hat every day since high school and never backed down from a fight, or a Facebook argument. He believed in hard work, personal responsibility, and that anything bad happening in the world could probably be traced back to Joe Biden.

It was a normal Tuesday morning when the sky turned a strange shade of orange and the ground trembled slightly beneath his muddy boots. Before he could mutter, “Must be global warming, thanks, Biden,” the clouds parted and down dropped a figure in a sharp suit, long red tie whipping in the wind.

“Trump?” Cletus gasped. But it wasn’t the Trump from TV. This Trump was furious, fire in his eyes, sleeves rolled up, and fists clenched. Before Cletus could ask for a selfie, the man tackled him to the floor.

“You told them I won!” Trump growled. “You stormed the Capitol for me. And what did I ever do for you?”

Cletus, confused, coughed out, “W-what? I thought we were on the same side!”

    Punch.

“I sold you steaks, hats, a university that never gave out degrees. And you still defended me.”

    Punch.

“You paid for legal fees for billionaires and got nothing but an empty factory and an overdue medical bill.”

    Punch.

Cletus lay there, his hat crooked, blood trickling from his lip, trying to understand what was happening. Trump was still on top of him, but somehow, it didn’t feel like betrayal. It felt… normal.

With all the energy he could muster, Cletus turned his bruised face to the side, spat out a tooth, and muttered:

“This is all Joe Biden’s fault.”

Trump paused mid-swing. Then, slowly, a smirk spread across his face. “That’s my boy.”

And just like that, the sky closed, the trembling stopped, and Cletus lay in silence, nursing his wounds, and his denial.

Because in his world, truth wasn’t what happened.

    It was who you blamed.
